The refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 brings quite a few upgrades and changes to the luxury crossover, including a redesigned front fascia and an overhauled cockpit. However, Cadillac Society recently learned that the 2024 XT4 is also dropping the Front Park Assist feature.
Previously, Front and Rear Park Assist (production code UD5) were standard on the 2019 through 2023 model year XT4 Premium Luxury and Sport trims, but not offered at all on the base Luxury trim. Front and Rear Park Assist could be replaced by Automatic Parking Assist (production code UKG), which could only be outfitted if the Enhanced Visibility Package (production code Y74) was also equipped on Premium Luxury and Sport trims.
By comparison, the 2024 Cadillac XT4 will only feature Rear Park Assist, which will be standard across all trim levels, including the base Luxury trim. In other words, Front and Rear Park Assist cannot be ordered, and neither can Automatic Parking Assist.
However, even without Front Park Assist, the 2024 XT4 still boasts quite a few active safety features. The optional Active Safety Package (production code AS2), priced at $1,825 and available on Premium Luxury and Sport trims, bundles tech like Automatic Speed Limit Assist, Enhanced Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning, HD Surround Vision, Traffic Sign Recognition and Side Bicyclist Alert, all of which are new for the 2024 XT4.
Meanwhile, the luxury marque’s semi-autonomous driver assistance feature, Super Cruise, is expected to make its way to the 2024 Cadillac XT4 in the near future, thought it is not be available at launch.
Still, the lack of Front Park Assist will make it difficult for some to park the XT4, unless they opt for an optional package that adds a front view camera.
Production of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 commenced in Spring 2023 at the Cadillac Fairfax plant in Kansas.

I have a 2-19 XT4 with every option available-including front parking assist-Can’t believe Cadillac would drop that feature on what is supposed to be a high end crossover.
