Cadillac Blackwing Models Get Optional Color-Matching Brake Calipers And Key Fobs

Customers interested in adding a splash of customization to their new high-performance Cadillac Blackwing sedan can do so with optional color-matched brake calipers and key fobs.

Both Cadillac Blackwing sedans, including the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and CT5-V Blackwing, come as standard with gray brake calipers and black key fobs. However, for a little extra outlay, customers can accessorize with a matching Blue, Red, or Bronze finish for the calipers and key fobs.

The standard gray and black finish for the Cadillac Blackwing calipers and key fob is tagged with production code J6P, while the matching Blue finish is tagged with production code J6B, the matching Red finish is tagged with production code J6F, and the matching Bronze finish is tagged with production code J6O. Pricing for the Blue, Red, and Bronze finishes is set at $595.

Alternatively, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is also offered with carbon-ceramic brake package, which includes massive Brembo brake components with lower overall weight, lower rotational mass, and outstanding thermal resistance, making the package the perfect addition for those customers eager to hit the track. In addition to offering superior braking performance, the upgraded brakes also offer the option for either Red, Blue, or Bronze brake calipers (and presumably the key fob as well) at no extra cost over the standard package pricing. That said, the package is priced at $9,000, so for those customers that simply want to upgrade with new colors, the $595 upgrade is the more cost-effective solution.

As a reminder, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is equipped with the supercharged 6.2L V8 (production code LT4) gasoline engine, which produces 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque, while the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is equipped with the twin-turbo 3.6L V6 (production code LF4), which produces 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque.
