2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing Enclosed Shipping Unavailable In Alaska And Hawaii

Earlier this year, Cadillac Society learned that buyers of the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing could opt for Enclosed Carrier Shipping to protect their super sedan during transport. Now, we’ve learned that buyers in Alaska and Hawaii are not eligible for this delivery option.

At this time, the reason that these two states have been excluded from Enclosed Carrier Shipping (production code XES) has not been confirmed. However, it’s likely that it is simply too costly and the logistics are overly complex to offer the service outside of the contiguous United States. Therefore, buyers in Alaska and Hawaii will not be able to opt for the Enclosed Carrier Shipping option when speccing out the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing. It’s worth noting that buyers of the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing are also unable to select this special delivery option in both states.

For eligible customers, Enclosed Carrier Shipping for the 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing costs extra, and ensures that the super sedan will be delivered in an enclosed carrier to protect it from the elements. The final price has not yet been revealed.

The 2023 model year marks the second model year for the Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing, which was introduced back in 2022 model year. The ultra-high-performance luxury sedan will continue to feature the twin-turbocharged V6 engine (production code LF4), capable of producing up to 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque, with all that power meeting the pavement by way of either the standard six-speed manual transmission or optional 10-speed automatic. Regardless of transmission, power is sent exclusively to the rear two wheels

Like the entire CT4 range, the CT4-V Blackwing rides on Cadillac’s Alpha 2 platform. The vehicle is produced at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. Production of the 2023 model year began on July 18th.
