    Contact the Cadillac and my dealer again today and still no update for my order. Cadillac told me because of the holidays and other chip related issues that it would probably be another three to four weeks before my car is produced with the batch that it has been assigned to. Took a chance to a ride to a different Cadillac dealer today and they have one coming into their dealership that meets all my specifications exactly. Put a deposit on it so either way I’ll be getting a car soon. This new dealer was so friendly and helpful and everything was completely stress-free. It’s almost like it was made to happen.

    That is very good news. I am thinking of doing the same but will give it another week.

    It’s a 21 instead of a 22 but there’s really not much difference and I couldn’t believe it’s got pretty much all the options that I ordered except the parking package which I really don’t need. Satin steel with the maple sugar and even the $600 diamond cut wheels that I wanted. It has to be fake so I figured I’d give it a shot. At least I know I’ll grab something. Good luck

    Yes my target production was Dec. 13th as well.
    Im in NC.
    Maybe the things I choose on my vehicle came a little faster than others.

    That’s awesome, maybe this one will work out for you if it’s truly what you want.
    Few months back my dealer had a ct4-V.
    V has always been my dream car to have and it had all the packages I want but the ct4 is way to small for my needs.

    We’ll see what happens when it comes in but it’s pretty much identical to what I have on order so I think I’m going to go with it. I have never been this stressed out about a car. General Motors really needs to get with the program and update their ordering process and ability for customers to track thrur orders.

    Yes I know. If mine really has shipped now it’s just the waiting game. At this point I will not hear anything again till it probably comes in.

    Just for the heck of it I test drove a new BMW 5 Series yesterday but went back to the ct5 that one dealer had on the floor and it just fit me like a glove. The seats and the driving position are just so comfortable.

    I used to have a 5 series BMW nice cars. But nothing drives like Cadillac forsure !

    very true. I had a 2012 BMW Gran Turismo. Loved that car. Still regret getting rid of it but was scared about repairs after five years.

    Yeah my car unfortunately kept having issues. So I decided to give Cadillac a try back when I bought my 2014 CTS

    Got the bump this week to 3400. My TPW was moved once, to this week from Nov. We’ll see. Hoping to get the call to come pick this up in 5 weeks or less.

    I ordered my car on September 23rd and it was set for Target production week of December 13th and is still stuck at event code 3400. I was lucky enough to find a car almost identical to one I ordered from another dealership which is already built and on its way in so I’m probably going to take that one instead. The whole process has not been a good experience partially because of the chip shortage but also the way that GM and the dealers communicate with the customers is just terrible. This forum is a great place of info and updates so keep us posted
