Creating this to have a consolidated thread for the upcoming Cadillac CT5. Rumors, expectations, questions… put them all in there.

One of the bigger questions about the upcoming CT5 is its size, as brought up by reader Felix here…

Cadillac South Korea Sales Increase 78 Percent To 146 Units In February 2018

To answer this: I believe that the CT5 will be exactly in between the current ATS and current (third-gen) CTS from a size standpoint.

In other words, I think it will be around 189-190 inches in length on a rear-drive chassis. The car will essentially be what I call a “compact plus” – slightly larger in size than the C-segment (compact) luxury cars such as the Mercedes-Benz C-Class, BMW 3 Series, Audi A4, etc, but priced like those vehicles.

Just a thought regarding revisiting the abandonment of offering a Cadillac coupe. What with COVID 19 affecting so much social behavior perhaps a 2nd look at the coupe market would be in order. Speaking for me I am married, retired no kids and would jump at acquiring a CT5 or CT4 coupe.

Has anyone heard when the 2021 CT5 will be available, or at least the build sheets made public?

This is the most common form of locksmith that is reachable within the neighborhood. They efficiently provide services that deal with cases where the homeowner forgets his keys at home or somehow loses them.

Here it is November, and the Cadillac web site still will not let you build/price a 2022 CT5. What gives? I’ve read that the Lansing plant is producing 2022 models, but from what orders? Pent-up dealer backorders? I want one with Super Cruise, but I’m starting to feel like I’m in a carnival funhouse, with Super Cruise being ‘teased’ behind every mirror and glass fake corridor. Is Super Cruise really delayed just to semiconductor supply, or is there some darker reason?

I am STILL waiting for my 2021 CT5 premium luxury sedan with Super Cruise since January 27, 2021. It will be a year soon, and it has become somewhat of a joke now among my friends. Initially, I was told a car ordered with Super Cruise will take 8 to 12 weeks. According to what I have read, production stopped in May for the 2021. The 2022’s supposedly began in mid-October. I have no idea (and the Dealership claims the same) on what is happening. Will I get a 2022 and at what price. My contract is for a 2021. So I have many frustrations.

I ordered a 2022 ct5 premium luxury on September 23rd and was just updated last week that has reached order acceptance code 2000 so I’m not sure how much longer it will take to get in the next step but the order book has been opened since mid-september for the 2022 model if that helps anyone

I have had a confirmed acceptance order for many month now, but until it is “picked up” by Cadillac for actual scheduled production I don’t think it means much. I wish I am wrong for your sake.
