The Cadillac Society Take

The substantial increase in Cadillac Canada sales during the fourth quarter of 2022 continued the luxury brand’s positive behavior in the Canadian market, where it accumulates two consecutive quarters of growth thanks to a notable improvement in the inventory across the local dealer network. The fourth quarter performance enables Cadillac to end the 2022 calendar year in the green, both when it comes to the quarter as well as during the complete calendar year.

All of the marque’s models currently in production were in the green during the quarter, posting high, two- and three-digit growth rates. For instance, the Cadillac XT4’s 1,092 deliveries made it Caddy’s best selling model, and the one with the highest growth rate within the portfolio. The XT4 was closely followed by its larger stablemate, the Cadillac XT5, which ended yet another year as the country’s most popular Cadillac nameplate.

It is also worth highlighting the healthy increases posted by the Cadillac Escalade and CT5, both driven by the addition of the respective high-performance variants – the Escalade-V and CT5-V Blackwing, both of which made a healthy impact on each respective vehicle family, improving the demand for the model ranges.
