    That dealer is nuts. I purchased my 2022 premium luxury from a dealer in Pittsburgh at MSRP. Nothing above that price. Their policy is not to mark them up above MSRP.

    Hello Amanda; truly just jumped back in to see how everything is going with your Escalade. So sorry to hear this and I wish I could offer some help. So far, I am OK with mine, but to be honest I have been hearing a lot of concerns and frustrations with the Escalade. I hope you can find a solution with your dealer; all the best.     Day 334 since my initial order was placed. Finally & tomorrow, I will arrive at my dealers at 4pm eastern time to take it home – Jeff from Pittsburgh. Enjoyed the journey with you both Samantha and Shari. All the best to you both going forward!

    Happy for you Shari; that is also great news. One day it will actually happen and for sure I am looking forward to that first drive. Its been a long journey getting to this stage, but from everything I hear it is certainly worth the wait. Again, great news on your end.

    Hello dmnoun; Jeff from Pittsburgh. To be very honest, the process can be difficult. I placed my original order for a 2021 back in February. It never got accepted and was pushed to a 2022. My official order for the 2022 was placed on October 6th and officially accepted by GM on November 16th. Then on December 14th I was advised that my 2022 was produced. As of today, it still has not arrived at the dealer, but should be any day now. To address you specific question regarding how long it will take for GM to officially accept your order, it really comes down to what is called “production restraints”. If your build contains something that GM is not accepting at the moment due to computer chips or components, it won’t get accepted. That is why my order back in February never got accepted. Once those restraints are removed by GM, your order will get accepted. Your dealer knows about all of this and he will be able to tell you what is happening at the moment. Hope this helps.

    Hello Amanda and Shari; Happy New Year (Jeff from Pittsburgh). My Escalade made it to Ohio on a train, but still not to the dealer yet. Hopefully this week. Shari, hope you have received better news regarding the shipment of yours.

    Today is a good day; Jeff from Pittsburgh. As of today, my Escalade has been produced. So, perhaps sometimes in January I will officially get it. Almost close to 1 year from the day I order it to the day I will receive it. Wow!

    Really happy for you Amanda; Jeff from Pittsburgh. It must be an amazing vehicle as the feedback from everyone is positive. Based on comments offered on this site and if nothing changes on my order, mine should be built by the end of this month. Then I am assuming another 4-6 weeks before it arrives at my dealer.     😃 Jeff from Pittsburgh. My dealer called today to confirm that my build was officially accepted by Cadillac today. I am not worried about the process going forward, just glad to know that I am now in the system.

    Hello BrightH; Jeff from Pittsburgh. I also placed my order in mid August and to date mine has not officially been accepted by Cadillac. I wish I could offer you the needed comments, but unfortunately I cannot. If you are still at code 1100, all I can say is that you have a ways to go. I hope you will have better luck than me.

    Hello everyone, Jeff again from Pittsburgh. Well, today was my dealers allocation day and once again Cadillac did not accept my build. All of this is beyond frustrating. I want to touring package, but with that it makes me take the performance package. But, according to my dealer, the performance package is at zero build for the moment. Thus, Cadillac continues to put me on hold; code 1100. One day, if I am still alive, I will be able to say; thank God as they took it! All the best to everyone out there.
