No Cadillac Lyriq Incentive Available In March 2023

During March 2023, there are no Cadillac Lyriq incentive or discount offers available directly from the luxury marque. In other words, Caddy is not offering any deals toward the purchase or lease of its first-ever all-electric vehicle.

The lack of Cadillac Lyriq incentive offers isn’t unexpected, as the luxury marque only recently began shipping the Lyriq out to dealers. The rollout of the new EV crossover has been intentionally slow, as Cadillac elected to withhold most of the 8,195 units of the Lyriq built at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee last year. Of that number, only 122 units were actually shipped, as Cadillac worked to ensure all units of the Lyriq were free of quality issues before delivering them.

Now, the luxury marque has doubled down on its production efforts, with plans to honor orders for the Lyriq Debut Edition models by the end of the first quarter of 2023. Almost 3,000 units of the luxury electric crossover were built in January 2023, indicating that line rate has significantly increased at Spring Hill.

While the luxury marque is not offering any sort of Cadillac Lyriq incentive this month, buyers of the luxury electric crossover can now take advantage of the $7,500 Federal EV Tax Credit thanks to a recent reclassification of the Lyriq by the U.S. Treasury. Previously, the vehicle’s classification rendered it ineligible for the tax credit, but that decision was recently reassessed.

As a reminder, the Cadillac Lyriq rides on the BEV3 platform, and is offered in either rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive, with the former harnessing a single Ultium Drive motor on the rear axle, and the latter gaining a second motor on the front axle. RWD models boast 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque. The AWD setup features 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque. Both configurations offer just over 300 miles of driving range on a single charge.
