New Cadillac XT4 Dealer Inventory Dwindles In U.S. Market

Back in October of 2025 we reported that there were still more than 2,000 new Cadillac XT4 models for sale in the U.S. Now, six months later, the number of remaining units has dropped significantly, as production of the luxury crossover ended in January of 2025.

According to a report by GM Authority, only a handful of 2024 Cadillac XT4 models are still available along with 20 or so 2025 model year units. The remaining units are priced from $36,000 to $52,000. For reference, original pricing for the 2025 XT4 started at $41,990 for the Premium Luxury trim with front-wheel drive (FWD). While all-wheel drive was optional, all 2024 and 2025 XT4s were equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine (production code LSY) mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

We came across a few listings that showed discounts, and noticed that at least one unit finished in our preferred exterior color choice: Emerald Lake Metallic. That said, with so few brand-new XT4 crossovers left on dealer lots, the pickings are slim and you may need to make compromises when it comes to certain colors and options.

Of course, there are plenty of more options for folks who are willing and able to go with the XT4’s electrified replacement: the Optiq. Doing so opens up the possibility of elevated performance, courtesy of the mighty Optiq-V, which offers 519 horsepower and 650 pound-feet of torque. That’s enough juice to propel it from zero to 60 miles per hour in just 3.5 seconds (with Velocity Max mode active).

Those who are fans of gasoline-powered Cadillac crossover and who wish the luxury marque didn’t sunset the XT4, you’re likely looking forward to the arrival of the next-gen XT5. Like the CT4, the smaller XT4 is gone for good. And like the CT5, the larger XT5 is set to return for a second-generation.

It’s also worth noting that the XT4 is still available in other markets. In fact, a new Cadillac XT4 in China costs as much as a Chevy Trax does in the States. In case you don’t know that number off the top of your head, it’s $22,500 – at current exchange rates. That’s about $14,000 less than the most affordable XT4 currently available.
