Poll: Is The Refreshed 2024 Cadillac XT4 Hot Or Not?

The 2024 Cadillac XT4 represents the luxury crossover’s much-anticipated midcycle refresh, offering updated exterior styling and a completely overhauled interior. Now, Cadillac Society wants your opinion – is the new XT4 hot or not?

Let’s take a closer look at what sets the 2024 Cadillac XT4 apart from its pre-refresh predecessor, which spans the 2019 through 2023 model years. A look at the front end reveals the variations between the two models’ front lighting. The 2024 XT4 has been outfitted with a redesigned set of LED headlamps stacked inside of a set of larger, more prominent vertical lighting signatures and horizontal accent lights.

Beyond the lighting, the front fascia of the 2024 Cadillac XT4 also features a redesigned grille along with a new front bumper cover with new surface development.

The 2024 Cadillac XT4 retains the same profile as on the pre-refresh luxury crossover, without alterations to the overall shape, fenders, greenhouse or roof. Out back, the taillights are arranged in the same L-shaped configuration, leading the eye downward to the redesigned lower fascia, which now includes a set of integrated trapezoidal exhaust tips along with new, vertically-aligned reflectors, as opposed to a set of different, less prominent exhaust outlets plus a horizontal arrangement seen on the prior model.

The most notable deviation between the refreshed 2024 XT4 and the pre-refresh luxury crossover is inside, where the refreshed 2024 XT4 features a large curved screen that spans the instrument panel to the vehicle’s center stack, relaying important information to the driver as well as facilitating infotainment controls. It ditches the traditional gauge cluster seen in the pre-refresh XT4, bringing Lyriq-like infotainment treatment to the crossover’s cabin.

The 2024 Cadillac XT4 retains the current model’s single engine option, which is the turbocharged 2.0L I4 (production code LSY). The boosted gasoline four-cylinder is rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It mates to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission. Front-wheel-drive is standard while all-wheel-drive is optional. Production is set to kick off this month at the Fairfax plant in Kansas.

  1. A refreshed XT5 staying in this country along with China, would good too.

  2. In my opinion the refreshed XT5 looks like it’s trying to be an XT6. The flatter hood….not a fan.

  3. I liked the old one alot, but the updates look much better. More refined and fresh. The only thing I preferred of the old is the hood bulge. I liked that the old one seemed more muscular and like a cowl induction feel.

  4. I have the original version and like it a lot. The new exterior is so little changed that most people will never notice the new details. But the revised interior is a home run. I especially love the new dash. My suggestions for future updates include more sound deadening insulation and laminated glass on all side windows. My car is way too loud at highway speeds.
