2023 Cadillac CT5-V Gets Very Limited Availability

Supplier constraints have affected production of the 2023 Cadillac CT5-VCadillac Society has learned. As a result, availability of the performance-oriented sedan will be extremely limited.

Production of the Cadillac CT5-V takes place at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan, but assembly will be constrained to just 20 percent . In other words, only 20 percent of all CT5-V units that the luxury marque planned to build will actually be produced. Since supplier constraints remain fluid, that figure is subject to change, however.

Introduced in conjunction with the first-gen CT5 for the 2020 model year, the CT5-V is the mid-tier performance-oriented sedan that slots between the regular CT5 models (Luxury, Premium Luxury, Sport) and range-topping CT5-V Blackwing in Cadillac’s lineup. It features a more powerful engine than the “regular” CT5 350T and 550T models, along with more capable handling, while maintaining approachability. Beyond the engine and suspension upgrades, the CT5-V features a unique mesh grille, V-Series “racing Mondrian” badging, and an upgraded, sportier rear diffuser.

As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V draws motivation from the turbocharged 3.0L V6 gasoline engine (production code LGY) rated at 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. That engine bolts to the luxury marque’s 10-speed automatic transmission, routing power to either the two rear wheels as standard, or to an optional all-wheel-drive system, available for a premium.

It’s important to note that the production constraints mentioned above only affect the CT5-V and do not extend to the CT5-V Blackwing super sedan. However, the CT5-V Blackwing hasn’t be completely unaffected by supplier issues. The Carbon Fiber 1 and Carbon Fiber 2 exterior accent packages are once again constrained for the 2023 model year, as well as Full Semi-Aniline Leather Front seats. However, these constraints do not prevent the ultra-high-performance CT5-V Blackwing from being built.

BUILD BACK BETTER TODAY LOOK: OUR $29 TRILLION DOLLAR BANKRUPT DEBT ECONOMY TODAY WITHOUT THE BIG GM TO PAY THE BILL. IF IT WASN’T FOR GM AND THE OTHER AMERICAN MANUFACTURERS THERE WOULD BE NO AMERICAN FLAG FLYING AT 1600 PENNSYLVANIA AVE.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL LOOK HOW WASHINGTON DC DESTROYED GENERAL MOTORS ONCE 500,000 EMPLOYEES TODAY GM’S MARY BARRA LESS THAN 90,000. WHEN I HIRED INTO CHEVROLET 10-6-69 CHEVROLET DIVISION ALONE HAD MORE THAN 90,000 GM-ERS. WASHINGTON DC CAN DESTROY ANYONE . IT STARTED WITH JIMMY CARTER FINISHED WITH BARRACK OBAMA.
GM was the second largest employer in the world created real employment, Only Russia employed more people. When President Kennedy wanted a motor vehicle to go to the moon the president called on GM not Honda or Toyota.

NEVER FORGET GM BUILT MORE HOUSES,POLICE, FIRE STATIONS, CITY HALLS, COLLEGES, GRADE AND HIGH SCHOOLS, MOTT CHILDREN HOSPITALS, KETTERING-SLOAN CANCER CENTER HOSPITALS, CHURCHES, SUPPORTED THE BOY SCOUTS ,GIRL SCOUTS AND UNITED FUND THAN JIMMY CARTER, BARRACK OBAMA AND WASHINGTON DC COULD EVER COUNT. IF ROGER SMITH WAS PRESIDENT WE WOULD NOT BE $29,000,000,000,000 IN DEBT. IF SO HEADS WOULD Roll I SAW IT WITH MY OWN EYES.

HOW DANGEROUS WASHINGTON DC CAN DESTROY ANYONE INCLUDING ROGER SMITH’S ORIGINAL GENERAL MOTORS. WHAT WAS GOOD FOR GM WAS GOOD FOR THE USA.
I was never a BIG WHEEL AT GM, NOT EVEN A HUB CAP, maybe a lug nut. But! I believe I was one of the hardest workers with forecasting at GM and the Chevrolet Division. President Jimmy Carter 1978, almost cost me my forecasting job at GM; result if I could not build an adjustable forecast by model and by plant my new job would be at a loading dock at the Miller Road GM Plant, Flint Michigan. I built the first two Federal Government Forecasts for all GM Chevrolet and GMC Trucks. President Jimmy Carter’s Federal Government Fine was $5000 Per Truck Times $5000 per tenth of a mile that MY GM FORECAST missed the government mandate.
My first forecast result, I missed it by 5 miles.
The Federal Government Fine was $1,250,000.00 per sold GM truck.
The result, after 4 more days and 4 eleven PM nights Gordy Wolter, Marty Raymen, and I built the second IBM Forecast that would work. In 1978 Microsoft WAS NOT A WORD the only Apple you could buy was at A and P and on October 6, 1969, my first GM DAY NO XEROX COPY MACHINES ONLY AB Dick model 350 and 360. In the 1980s before today’s cell phones I was one of the hand-picked crew to make sure when the GM Board of Directors, Proctor and Gamble MR JohnG. Smale and The Board came to Detroit for four days and nights there were no hick-ups and no sleep for 24 hours Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. GM would prep the Board of Directors for the New York Stock Holders meeting at the GM Proving Grounds, Milford Michigan, I personally felt proud that GM trusted me with these extra work assignments and the extra dollars were nice in addition to other nice favors granted to me.
RIP USA and ROGER SMITH AND SMITH’S GENERAL MOTORS
