Cadillac currently doesn’t offer factory stripes for the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing ultra-high-performance luxury sedan, but one owner took matters into their own hands by adding a set of custom stripes to the hood of their CT5-V Blackwing, giving it a very unique appearance.
Though photos of this particular CT5-V Blackwing have been making their way across the web, we weren’t able to identify the owner or find other pictures of the machine. However, we were able to identify a few neat characteristics about the model. Aside from the striking aftermarket matte black and red striping, this CT5-V Blackwing was treated with dark aftermarket window tint to give it a more threatening, combative appearance. The modifications complement the Black Raven exterior paint and Satin Graphite-finished wheels perfectly, making the machine look downright mean.
This Blackwing also appears to wear both the Carbon Fiber 1 and Carbon Fiber 2 packages, adding a handful of exterior carbon fiber accents and trim pieces. They serve for more than just looks, lending the super sedan more downforce, and in turn, more grip and composure at higher speeds. Components included in the two Carbon Fiber packages include the front splitter, front wheel well deflectors, rocker moldings, rear valance diffuser, and rear extra aero spoiler.
As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing makes use of the supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4), delivering 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque exclusively to the rear wheels via either a standard 6-speed manual transmission or optional 10-speed automatic. The first units of the ultra-high-performance sedan began rolling off the assembly line in July 2021. Since then, we’ve been able to track down a few examples at dealerships around the country, including a pre-owned one available at a dealer in Florida.
