Tedluby@optonline.netParticipantI went through a nightmare when I ordered mine on September 23rd and kept getting screwed around and finally got a build date of December 13th which kept getting changed. Could not get a straight answer out of my dealership or anyone at Cadillac and for weeks I waited for updates which never came so I finally found another one coming in to a different dealer which was almost identical to what I had ordered and I grabbed it. It was a 2021 instead of a 2022 but I’m glad I was able to get it because at least it had all the features and it and working. I ordered can purchase many cars from different manufacturers and never have had such a hard time as dealing with General Motors.

Mine was ordered September 23rd and from what I can see by tracking it it still has not shipped or there’s something going on but I was lucky enough to find a 2021 on order at another dealer identical to what I ordered except minus the parking package which I can live without. I’m so glad that I took it and I’ve had it for a month now I really love it. Satin steel metallic with a maple sugar interior is it real head-turner.

When you go to pick up your cars take note of the left rear door trim on the top to make sure it lines up with the rest of the trim pieces. The Chrome molding on mine does not line up with the rear trim and so far the dealer has not got back to me as to what could be done with it. It appears that snaps onto a channel which is somehow attached to the door is a mystery how something like this could pass quality control.

I had the clear protective film installed on me front of the car as well. Really change the appearance of the car and help those black panels behind the rear doors blend in better.

Tedluby@optonline.netParticipantI have the 2021 premium luxury as well with the premium Bose sound system and if I crank it up it is extremely loud and working very well. I have it set on the Centerpoint setting. Don’t know if this info will help you.
Tedluby@optonline.netParticipantWow. I thought your target production week was so much sooner. This is such a huge mess. Might be worth it just for the heck of it to do a locate on their website to see if there’s something close to what you want that is coming into a dealer already. That’s what I did and I ended up getting a 2021 but it pretty much in that all the specs of my ordered car so I grabbed it and I’m so glad that I did.
Tedluby@optonline.netParticipantI just checked on the original car that I had ordered today and back in September and it’s still at event code 4000 and they say available to ship pending final approval. I have no idea what the heck that means but yeah I see 2022 models that have been ordered by the others for stock that are starting to arrive so I really don’t understand. I’m just very fortunate that I found a 2021 that was almost identical to the one I ordered and I grabbed it a month ago. This is really a total nightmare the entire process for everyone. No one seems to have any answers or any accurate and definite information.
Tedluby@optonline.netParticipantThat does not sound correct at all. When my dealer entered my order back in September It was immediately assigned in order number which was on the printed out paper that he gave me listing all the options that I chose. It should be 6 characters. Mine started with ZZQ. Disorder number stays with the vehicle and ultimately when it is produced it will be assigned a VIN number. I would go back to that dealer and ask him to pull up the order that he answered for you and print you out a copy and that should have the order number on it and you should be able to track that with Cadillac chat or their Facebook messenger chat.

My original dealer supposedly has 11 coming in (1 of them still not the one I ordered) but nothing on the lot.
