After five consecutive quarters of growth, Cadillac Canada sales suffered a significant decline during the fourth quarter of 2025. This marks the luxury marque’s first quarter in the red since Q2 2024 as well as its only decline in Canada during the 2025 calendar year.
Similar to the situation in the U.S. market, the decline in Cadillac Canada sales during Q4 2025 was due to plummeting sales of the discontinued Cadillac XT4 and a sharp drop in demand for the Cadillac Lyriq – the marque’s two best-selling models during the year-ago quarter. Combined, these two nameplates sapped 1,748 units from the bottom line on a year-over-year basis.
In fact, the all-new, all-electric Cadillac Escalade iQ was the only model in the green in the Canadian market during Q4 thanks to much better availability compared to the prior year. Additionally, the Cadillac Optiq remains the marque’s best-selling model in the country, although sales volume for the compact electric crossover has stagnated and lost the momentum it experienced earlier in 2025.
Only 26 units of the 685-horsepower sedan will be built.
U.S. production of the crossover ended in January of 2025.
Getting an allocation, however, may be the tricky part.
