The Cadillac Escalade SC602 supercharger package isn’t new to us. What is new, however is the availability of the package on refreshed 2025 models.
Callaway will add the SC602 package to any 2025 Escalade (or 2026 Escalade) that features the standard, naturally-aspirated 6.2L V8 (production code L87). This means the blower can be tucked under the hood of both regular-length and ESV models as well as both rear-wheel and all-wheel drivetrains. Adding the pack bumps the engine’s output to 602 horsepower and 560 pound-feet pound-feet of torque, a gain of 182 horsepower and 100 pound-feet of torque compared to the factory rating of 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.
As a reminder, the Callaway SC602 package features performance components, including the TVS R2650 blower, a high-flow intake system, a free-flowing exhaust, and software tuning. Other goodies included in the base price of the package range from aluminum door sill inserts to vehicle-mounted plaques and Callaway badging. Optional enhancements are also available, including wheel packages, Alcantara interior bits, and black exhaust tips.
All package contents are covered by a three-year / 36,000-mile limited warranty, which is supplemental to the factory warranty. According to Callaway, this means “seamless coverage of both Callaway and GM installed components during the term of GM’s Bumper-to-Bumper Warranty.”
We took a closer look at the warranty and noted a few details that certainly qualify as supplemental. For instance, Callaway will offer technical support, parts sourcing, and even financial reimbursement to dealers in the event that a Callaway component failure causes damage to powertrain parts that are covered by the factory warranty.
This reassurance is surely valuable to customers considering a Cadillac Escalade equipped with Callaway’s SC602 package as an alternative to the factory-supercharged Escalade-V. By assuaging these concerns, potential buyers can instead focus on a more significant difference between the two: rear-wheel drive (RWD) versus all-wheel drive (AWD). By foregoing the V model, which is exclusively offered in AWD, buyers open up the option to have a supercharged Escalade in RWD.
