Refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade Sport Caught Testing Completely Undisguised

A midcycle refresh is just around the corner for the 2025 Cadillac Escalade, promising a host of welcome changes and updates for the luxury marque’s best-selling full-size SUV. Recently, Cadillac Society spotted the high-performance Escalade-V undergoing testing completely uncovered, showing off its revamped front end without any camo. Now, we’ve spied the Escalade Sport trim without camo, giving us a look at what’s coming down the pike for the luxury SUV.

This 2025 Cadillac Escalade is the Sport trim level, identifiable by its dark exterior accents, such as door handles, grille surround, and daylight window opening (DLO) trim, as opposed to bright accents found on other trims. It’s dressed in Black Raven (paint code GBA), with its refreshed fascia in plain view.

Notably, the front end of the 2025 Escalade was designed to mirror the all-electric Escalade IQ, borrowing the front lighting arrangement from its battery-electric sibling. This includes horizontally oriented turn signals mounted just beneath the seam of the hood, which also double as the hazard lights. Vertical lights extend down either side of the fascia, housing the Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the outside of the vertical enclosure and the main forward lights inside them. We can also see the two-tiered grille, with the top grille getting a mesh inlay and the lower grille featuring a horizontal slat pattern.

This 2025 Cadillac Escalade rolls on a set of new wheels, and they appear to be a new design of the 24-inch wheels that will be offered as an option right out of the factory. The wheels here feature an attractive double six-spoke pattern that’s quite fitting for the Sport trim.

Moving around the the rear, the 2025 Escalade carries most of the design elements over from the current, pre-refresh model, although the inner taillight graphics have been updated. The 600 badge on the liftgate points to the 6.2L V8 engine (production code L87) under the hood, which is rated at 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque.

While not visible in these photos, the refreshed 2025 Escalade will incorporate a pillar-to-pillar display similar to that of the all-electric Escalade IQ and Celestiq sedan, a marked upgrade over the current model’s already generous 38-inch OLED display

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade will continue to ride on the luxury marque’s T1 platform, and production will continue taking place at the Arlington plant in Texas.

  1. I think they ruined the exterior updates! Taillight is a nice touch and the interior is definitely a game Changer. I don’t see myself upgrading from my 23 Escalade but I’m sure folks will like it. I’m definitely curious to see if the interior gained or lost space.
