Here’s The 2025 Cadillac Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum Before Its Upcoming Reveal

Cadillac Society has been diligently keeping tabs on everything related to the refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade. We’ve seen the revamped luxury SUV undergoing testing quite a few times, though at first, its updated face was hidden behind heavy camo. Since then, we’ve spotted a showroom-ready Escalade-V as well as an undisguised Escalade Sport, showing off a front fascia aesthetic and cockpit that closely match those of of the all-electric Escalade IQ.  This time, we’re getting an undisguised look at the updated 2025 Escalade Premium Luxury.

What sets the Escalade Premium Luxury apart from its Sport and V-Series brethren is the abundance of chrome accents interspersed throughout the luxury SUV’s exterior. Meanwhile, the Premium Luxury Platinum trim builds on the “regular” Premium Luxury model with higher levels of features and equipment, while also bringing a unique grille, thereby representing one of the range-topping Escalade models within Cadillac’s Y-trim level strategy.

We can very much see the Escalade’s refreshed maw front and center, its bright chrome grille defined against its Black Raven hue (paint code GBA). Note the chrome trim surrounding the vertically oriented headlights, underscored by bold chrome accents bracketing the lower intake. Up top, thin turn signals join up with the bold chrome grille surround for a seamless look. Speaking of the grille, it features horizontally oriented bars across the nose finished in bright polished chrome, bearing a closer resemblance to the grille of the pre-refreshed (2021-2024) Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum.

That chromed-out theme is carried over to the bright window surrounds and lower door accents, complemented by a set of bright multi-spoke wheels.

Out back, the 2025 Escalade boasts the nameplate’s signature vertical taillights with new inner graphics. The liftgate is emphasized by a full-width chrome bar beneath the rear glass, which carries over from the pre-refresh model. A new chrome bar is present just above the license plate. The reflects within the rear fascia appear to have taken on a thinner shape, as are the chrome accent pieces that surround them. Meanwhile, the dual trapezoidal exhaust tips, outlined in chrome, seem to have been reshaped.

While not visible in these photos, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade will benefit from a coast-to-coast (or pillar-to-pillar) interior display that houses the digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel, the infotainment system, and a passenger side entertainment screen. This setup mirrors that in the Escalade IQ and Cadillac Celestiq, creating interior design congruity across the luxury marque’s lineup.

The naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 engine (production code L87) will remain the standard powerhouse for “regular” 2025 Cadillac Escalade models. Meanwhile, the optional turbodiesel 3.0L I6 (production code LZ0) will replace the outgoing 3.0L I6 (production code LM2). The luxury SUV will continue riding on the T1 platform, and will continue being produced at the Arlington plant in Texas.

  2. Oh my, the front end. They’ve deviated significantly from the Cadillac design language and the headlights look like a Mitsubishi or a Hyundai.
