2025 Cadillac XT5, XT6 And CT4 Will Be Offered In U.S.

As Cadillac continues to execute its strategy to completely migrate its vehicle portfolio to battery electric vehicles by the end of the decade, some of the luxury marque’s current models with internal combustion engines are facing uncertain futures in North America. In particular, the destiny of the Cadillac XT5, XT6 and CT4 beyond the 2024 model year were up in the air. However, Cadillac Society has now learned that all three of these nameplates will be offered for the 2025 model year in the U.S. market after all.

It’s important to note that we expect the 2025 Cadillac XT5, XT6 and CT4 to be carryovers from the 2024 model year. In the case of the XT5, that means the 2025 model year will be a continuation of the first-generation model, and will not be the second-gen model, which will be exclusive to the Chinese market.

The 2025 Cadillac XT6 and CT4 are also expected to be the same as they were for the 2024 model year. The luxury marque itself hasn’t announced any impending refreshes for either of the two nameplates, and our spies haven’t spotted any prototypes of either model undergoing testing yet. By contrast, we saw plenty of prototypes of the refreshed Cadillac CT5 undergoing testing well before the updated model was unveiled. That’s not to say refreshes of the XT6 and CT4 aren’t possible, but something tells us that there aren’t any major changes in the wings for either model for the 2025 model year.

For reference, the current XT6 and CT4 have both been in production since the 2020 model year, and neither has been treated to a refresh or any other substantial changes or updates since then.
