Cadillac Lyriq-V Could Debut In March

The Cadillac V-Series sub-brand represents the luxury marque’s pride and joy when it comes to high-performance vehicles. As Cadillac enters the electric vehicle era, the first electric vehicle to wear the V-Series badge will be introduced in the near future. While details have yet to be released, it’s highly likely that this V-Series EV will be the Cadillac Lyriq-V. In fact, the high-performance electric luxury crossover could be unveiled this month.

The V-Series line turns 20 years old in 2024, and the luxury marque has spent the last 12 months celebrating the milestone anniversary with a slew of special products and features. The year-long festivities will wrap up with a 20th Anniversary Celebration in March 2024, perfectly setting the stage for the reveal of the Cadillac Lyriq-V.

The Lyriq-V is the most logical next step for the V-Series line, and it’s been a long time coming, to boot. Cadillac Society was the first to report that the high-performance electric luxury crossover was on the way way back in 2021 when it was in the idea phase. Almost two years later, we noticed that a “V” trim level was an option on the Cadillac Accessories website, serving as the first official proof that a Lyriq-V is, in fact, on the way. Shortly thereafter, more details came to light, including that the Lyriq-V will build on the existing Sport trim level, will sport dark exterior accents and V-Series badging.

Then, in May 2023, Cadillac Society learned that the Lyriq-V would be more powerful than any Lyriq to date. For reference, the most powerful model sold thus far is the dual-motor, all-wheel-drive Lyriq. This powertrain choice is rated at 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, making it quick enough to run from zero to 60 mph in 4.6 seconds.

Whatever the case, it seems that the Cadillac Lyriq-V is days or weeks from being revealed, at which point it will catapult the V-Series name into battery electric vehicle era.

We’ll bring you details on the Cadillac Lyriq-V as soon as they surface. 1. This country, by political agenda, has been purposely misinformed, fed lies, and coerced into brain washing telling our citizens that electric cars will save the planet. It’s just the reverse. As a lifelong car guy at 77 years of age, I don’t worry about losing the use of my cherished gas-powered Cadillac only to be forced into a ludicrous EV. I just don’t have that long!

  2. Sorry, but there is NO conspiracy by the US government. Based on your own logic, then the governments of ALL first-world nations in the world are in on your “brainwashing” conservative right-wing conspiracy theory because they ALL are pushing electric cars. Ridiculous. I hate electric cars as much as anybody, and the inconvenience of them on long trips, but climate change is REAL and proven by experts all over the globe, despite what your cult leader and conservative talk show propagandists say.
