2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing Semi-Aniline Leather Seats Available Again

After being constrained for almost seven months, the Full Semi-Aniline Leather Seats are once again available to order on the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, Cadillac Society has learned.

In order to make the Full Semi-Aniline Leather Seats with mini-perforated inserts and custom quilting available to order again, Cadillac is currently offering them without the carbon fiber seatbacks. This component was previously constrained due to a supplier issue, preventing the luxury marque from offering the seats – including the Semi-Aniline Leather material and the carbon fiber seatbacks – on its ultra-high-performance sedan.

The Full Semi-Aniline Leather Seats are a $8,090 option on the 2023 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing, and are offered in the following colorways (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • Jet Black with Jet Black accents (iHMR)
  • Natural Tan with Jet Black accents (HJC)
  • Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents (HJD)

Those who don’t upgrade to the Full Semi-Aniline Leather Seats will get the super sedan’s standard leather seating surfaces with mini-perforated inserts, which are only offered in the Jet Black (production code HGM) colorway. Buyers can also opt for the $2,890 Leather seating surfaces with sueded front seatbacks, which are available in Jet Black (production code HEA) or Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents (production code HEB).

As a reminder, the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is powered by the supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4), which is tuned to deliver a whopping 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque, routed exclusively to the rear wheels. The super sedans rides on the luxury marque’s Alpha 2 platform, and is assembled at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. Production of the 2023 model year began on July 18th, 2023.
