As the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq ushers in the luxury electric crossover’s second model year, not only will it be offered with an expanded trim level lineup, but it will also feature an expanded seat color lineup, as Cadillac Society was the first to report back in 2022. Now, Cadillac Society has learned that the luxury electric crossover will also be offered with an optional Nappa Leather Package.
The Nappa Leather Package (production code PCH) includes the following content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):
The Nappa Leather Package for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq can be chosen in one of two interior colorways – Oxford Stone with Garnet accents (production code H7B) or Juniper with Sky Cool Gray accents (production code H7B). The package adds $3,990 to the overall cost of the Lyriq, and is only available in conjunction with the Luxury 3 (equipment group 1SE) and Sport 3 (equipment group 1SK) trim levels. It is not offered on Tech (equipment group 1SA), Luxury 1 (equipment group 1SC), Luxury 2 (equipment group 1SD), Sport 1 (equipment group 1SF) or Sport 2 (equipment group 1SJ) trims.
Instead of the Nappa Leather Package, the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq Tech – the new base trim for the 2024 model year – gets Inteluxe (leatherette) seat upholstery in Noir (production code H9F), while Luxury and Sport trims feature Inteluxe seats with Mini-Perforated inserts in either Noir with Santorini Blue accents (production code H7D) or Sky Cool Gray with Santorini Blue accents (production code H7E).
As a reminder, the Lyriq rides on the luxury marque’s BEV3 platform, and is assembled at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for all markets except for China. It is offered with two powertrains. The base single-motor setup features one Ultium motor mounted on the rear axle, lending 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque for an estimated 312 miles of driving range. The second is a dual-motor Performance AWD setup that adds a motor to the front axle, resulting in over 500 total system horsepower.
