When the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq arrives, it will mark the EV’s second model on the market. In doing so, it will bring a handful of changes, including a more complete trim level lineup. Now, Cadillac Society has learned that the 2024 model year will also introduce new interior seat colors to the Lyriq.
Currently, the 2023 Cadillac Lyriq offers two interior seat colors: Sky Cool Gray and Noir. Two more interior colorways will be offered for the 2024 model year, sources tell Cadillac Society. One of these will feature black seats with white stitching and white piping running down the center, or spine, of the seat back rest, as well as on the seat’s side bolsters.
The Lyriq Debut Edition models feature blue piping down the center of the seat backrests in conjunction with both Sky Cool Gray and Noir seat colors. The new colorways, meanwhile, will feature a center element approximately one cm wide that takes the place of the blue piping found on the seats of Debut Edition models. The white piping around the outermost edges will be the most visible, while the inside piping – that closer to the center pipe – will be slightly less bold. At the time of this writing, photos of the new interior colorways for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq have not been made available.
As we mentioned, these new interior colorways will arrive at the same time as a more complete trim lineup for the 2024 Cadillac Lyriq, which will be implemented per Cadillac’s Y trim level strategy. The Lyriq is only currently available in the Luxury trim – which is the base level trim level, but Premium Luxury and Sport trims will become available for the electric crossover’s second model year. Additionally, the Lyriq Sport will gain a new LED lighting pattern on the vehicle’s front fascia, or “grille” – as we reported earlier this week.

If Cadillac wants to sell this car they really need to open up the color combinations. They need to offer the interior a rich dark red and a color similar to the Maple sugar, in my 2021 XT5 platinum. Gray and black are boring, but will look fine with certain exterior colors. In my opinion, black with white piping will look cheap.

Great news as I ordered a 2024 Lyriq 2WD with 24″ wheels and black interior (Crystal White exterioir). I had posted my wish for white piping on another Lyriq website. Please keep the updates coming.
