Aurora, Vale, Mist, and Magnetic are the four 2024 Cadillac Celestiq design themes that serve as starting points for the ultra luxury sedan’s extensive customization options. Today, we’re taking a closer look at Magnetic, which is meant to draw attention to the Celestiq in a subtle way.
A deep, shadowy blue color with metal flake is offered on the exterior of the Celestiq Magnetic, known as Caspia. The luxury marque describes this color as being “as deep and boundless as the universe itself.” The color also helps to reveal the shape of the Celestiq with its bright metallic highlights, accented by Acier metal trim.
The Cadillac Celestiq Magnetic design theme continues to the interior thanks to deep, dreamy blues with its dark Santorini leather color, or Backen Black leather. These colors can be paired with Haumea Carbon Fiber high gloss trim pieces, as well as Backen Black fabric. Jade stainless steel speakers add a touch of subtle green hues to the vehicle’s interior.
As a reminder, the 2024 Cadillac Celestiq was finally unveiled in production form in October 2022, bringing to light crucial details about the forthcoming flagship ultra-luxury sedan. It’s powered by a 111 kWh battery pack and a dual-motor all-wheel-drive propulsion system good for an approximate driving range of 300 miles on a single charge while providing a significant 600 horsepower and 640 pound-feet of torque. The ultra luxury sedan is capable of sprinting from zero to 60 mph in just 3.8 seconds.
The electric ultra luxury sedan will be hand built in very small numbers at the GM Global Technical center, allowing its builders to craft even the most minute detail. To that end, it should come as no surprise that the 2024 Cadillac Celestiq will carry a starting price tag of over $300,000 and is expected to begin production in December 2023.
