Cadillac Mexico sales fell seven percent to 123 units in June 2022 compared to June 2021.
Individual model sales performance was as follows:
- Cadillac CT4 sales have not yet commenced in Mexico
- Cadillac CT5 sales have not yet commenced in Mexico
- Cadillac Escalade sales decreased 19.39 percent to 79 units
- Cadillac XT4 sales increased 9.09 percent to 24 units
- Cadillac XT5 sales increased 66.67 percent to 20 units
- Cadillac XT6 sales have not yet commenced in Mexico
- The Cadillac CT6 was never offered in Mexico
During the first six months of the 2022 calendar year, Cadillac Mexico sales increased 22 percent to 736 units.

The Cadillac Society Take
The decrease in Cadillac Mexico sales during June puts an end to the positive trend the luxury marque has experienced during the last five consecutive months in the Latin country. The decline in June represents Cadillac’s first volume drop so far in 2022 in the Mexican market.
The Cadillac Escalade registered a notable drop in volume in June, a first for the nameplate so far in 2022. This decline became the deciding factor in the marque’s overall drop in sales volume due to the Escalade’s position as Cadillac’s best-selling model. The Escalade’s negative trend is the result of lower availability at the dealer level, and is consistent with the most recent sales results in the United States and Canada, where the full-size SUV was in the red for the first time since the fifth generation model launched.
By contrast, the Cadillac XT4 and XT5 managed to post gains in sales volumes during June in Mexico, marking the fourth consecutive month of monthly increases for the crossovers. Though the models have seen improvements in inventory levels, both continue to see low sales volumes. In fact, June’s performance allowed the XT5 to flip its year-to-date sales figures into the green for the first time in 2022.
