2022 Cadillac XT6 Gets Small Price Increase

The price of the 2022 Cadillac XT6 luxury crossover rose a small amount.

Specifically, the MSRP for the 2022 Cadillac XT6 remained unchanged. Rather, the price increase is applicable toward the destination freight charge, which rose from $1,195 to $1,395, adding $200 to the overall cost of the vehicle.

With this small price increase, the most affordable XT6 remains the Luxury trim level, which starts at $49,990 for front-wheel-drive models, and $51,990 for all-wheel-drive models. The Premium Luxury trim begins at $54,390 for front-wheel-drive, while all-wheel-drive starts at $56,390. Finally, the XT6 Sport starts at $59,690, and is offered exclusively in AWD.

2022 Cadillac XT6 Updated Starting MSRPs
Trim Level Drivetrain Powertrain 2022 MSRP + DFC
Luxury 350T FWD Turbo 2.0L I4 LSY $49,990
Luxury 350T AWD Turbo 2.0L I4 LSY $51,990
Premium Luxury 400 FWD 3.6L V6 LGX $54,390
Premium Luxury 400 AWD 3.6L V6 LGX $56,390
Sport 400 AWD 3.6L V6 LGX $59,690

As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac XT6 is powered by a choice of two engines. The first is the naturally aspirated 3.6L V6 engine (production code LGX), rated at 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque that’s standard on Premium Luxury and Sport models. These models wear the 400 badge on the liftgate. Meanwhile, the base Luxury model features the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), which is rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This model wears the 350T badge on the liftgate. Both engines bolt to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission. XT6 production takes place at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee for U.S. markets.

It’s worth noting that 2022 Cadillac XT6 is currently being built without several features due to the ongoing global microchip shortage. Front and rear park assist features are currently constrained, and there’s no word on when the features will return. Heated and ventilated seats were also briefly under constraint, but have since been reintroduced to the 2022 XT6.
