Customers interested in buying a Cadillac V-Series or V-Series Blackwing performance sedan have no shortage of customization options to truly make the vehicles their own, from colors and wheels to Carbon Fiber packages. But another, lesser-known customization option, are a set of sleek black mirror caps.
Both the Cadillac V-Series and V-Series Blackwing sedans feature body-colored mirror caps that match the rest of the vehicles’ paint as standard. However, if desired, the black mirror caps can be optioned to make the vehicle’s exterior styling stand out even more than it already does.

Black mirror caps can be equipped on the Cadillac CT4-V and CT4-V Blackwing as well as CT5-V and or CT5-V Blackwing. Officially, the feature is called Black mirror caps (production code 5JS), and are offered as an LPO-level option, indicating that they are installed at a dealer rather than on the assembly line at the factory.
The Black mirror cap accessory can be equipped on any Cadillac V-Series or Blackwing model – except for those painted in Black Raven, which already feature black-painted mirrors by default. Non-Blackwing V-Series models feature the Black mirror caps as part of the optional Onyx exterior accessory package (production code PDB), which is also an LPO-level addition.

Cadillac CT4-V, CT4-V Blackwing, and CT5-V models include sideview mirrors that are heated, power adjustable, manual folding, and driver side auto dimming. They also feature integrated turn signal indicators. The power folding feature is standard on CT5-V Blackwing, and can be equipped as an option on the CT5-V.
The Cadillac V-Series and Blackwing sedans are built at the Cadillac Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. The performance sedans ride on Cadillac’s Alpha 2 vehicle architecture (platform).
