2022 Cadillac CT5 Gets Minor Price Increase

The 2022 Cadillac CT5 just became a little more expensive after the luxury marque applied a price increase to the destination freight charge.

The Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP) for the 2022 CT5 remains the same. Instead, the price increase applies to the destination freight charge, which rose from $1,195 to $1,395, adding just $200 to the overall price of the luxury sedan.

As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac CT5 offers three gasoline engine choices. The 2.0L I4 (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque, is standard on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels. Models with this engine wear the 350T badge on the decklid. The twin-turbo 3.0L V6 (production code LGY) is optional on the CT5 Premium Luxury, where it makes 335 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. This model has the 550T badge out back. Rear-wheel-drive is standard on these models, while all-wheel-drive is a paid extra.

The Cadillac CT5 range is assembled at the Cadillac Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. Currently, the vehicle is being assembled without a handful of features due to constraints stemming from the ongoing global microchip shortage. These include heated steering wheels, along with Super Cruise, the luxury marque’s semi-autonomous driver assist technology. However, heated and ventilated seats were recently reintroduced after a brief hiatus.
