The new Cadillac Blackwing super sedans introduce a new level of performance for the CT4 and CT5 ranges, with high-powered engine specs and tons of go-fast goodies. Now, Cadillac Society is taking a closer look at the optional Dark Emerald Matte paint color and how much it costs.
Customers looking to cover their new Cadillac Blackwing sedan in Dark Emerald Matte paint will need to dole out an additional $3,925 on top of the vehicle’s price. The hue is one of 10 exterior colors available, with eight of the available colors offered as an extra-charge option. Six of the colors feature a metallic finish, one has a tintcoat finish, while Dark Emerald Matte is the only matte finish offered. Interestingly, Dark Emerald Matte is the first-ever matte finish offered on the CT4 and CT5 lines, and only the third matte finish offered by Cadillac in the last decade.

Exterior Colors
- Summit White
- Rift Metallic
- Satin Steel Metallic
- Shadow Metallic
- Black Raven
- Dark Emerald Matte
- Wave Metallic
- Electric Blue
- Blaze Orange Metallic
- Infrared Tintcoat
Interior Colors
- Jet Black with Jet Black accents
- Natural Tan with Jet Black accents
- Sky Cool Gray with Jet Black accents
All exterior color options are available with each of the above interior colorways, although customers that opt for standard front bucket seats will only have Jet Black available for the interior. Sky Cool Gray is available with the leather seating surfaces and sueded back panel option, while semi-aniline leather with custom quilting and carbon back panels is available in conjunction with all three interior color combos.
Compared to the standard CT4 and CT5, the Cadillac Blackwing sedans feature new, aero-tested exterior upgrades, including a reshaped bumper, new underbody panels, and a new rear spoiler. Wheel sizing is set at 18 inches for the 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing and 19 inches for the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing.
