    Hi Amanda; Jeff again. I also know about the computer chip concern; which has created a lot of delivery issues for Cadillac and others. Like you, I am not going to take accept something less as this will also be my dream car. Actually will be my 3rd Escalade as I am currently driving a 2016. Anyway, I must admit that getting mine built is now most likely a long shot. As I conveyed to Cadillac advisors many many times, I think it is non-professional for Cadillac to do this to anyone. For sure, they know if they are going to build my order; yes or no? Amanda, hang in there and let’s hope for some good news soon!

    Jeff from Pittsburgh. I ordered mine in late February and it is still not produced by Cadillac; premium luxury + drivers assist tech package + performance package. I still have hope, but my dealer just told me that if it does not happen this month (July), it most likely won’t happen as a 2021. Also, I am very frustrated with the Cadillac advisors as I keep getting mis-information, changing status reports and broken promises. I do not blame them as I know they are only caught in the middle and for sure I know they are getting hammered with frustrated customers. I just wish I could get the truth on what is happening. I hope others are having better success than I am.

    Hello Amanda; Jeff again from Pittsburgh. As I understand them, 1100 just means that your dealer has placed the order to Cadillac. 2000 means that Cadillac has officially accepted the order. 3000 means that Cadillac has sent the order to the factory and they have officially accepted it as a build. I hope you have better success then I am having; good luck!

    Hello; Jeff from Pittsburgh again. Not sure if I am alone on this one, but I have just crossed week 19 since I ordered my premium luxury and Cadillac has yet to commit to a build date. Over the last weeks I have obtained conflicting feedback from the Cadillac advisors in regard to my status; 1100, 2000, 3000 and then back to 1100. My dealer is also very frustrated and seems to be caught in the middle of mis-information also. Would anyone know if it is possible to determine if Cadillac will actual build the Escalade or will I eventually just be told that my order has been removed from consideration. I am at the point in time of deciding; hang on or walk away. Thanks for any feedback that can be offered.

    Hello Shari; I truly know the frustration and to be honest, I am not sure that I am in any better position. Like I said, I am now at week 16 and over the last couple of weeks I have obtained conflicting comments from Cadillac advisors. Yes, the latest update was positive, but I have been there before and later learned that my code returned back to 1100. My dealer is also frustrated as he does have an allocation for 2 sold Escalades, but is still not sure if it will happen. I just returned from a business trip to Raleigh, NC and was able to stop by Hendrick Cadillac. They are also having a very difficult time getting accurate updates from Cadillac and advised that as long as we are in the system, hang in there as it eventually should happen. Hang in there Shari and good luck. I hope one day we can both offer better, more positive updates.

    Hello Shari; I am Jeff from Pittsburgh, PA. I ordered mine in early March and yesterday was week 16 with my event code still showing 1100. Today I was messaging with an advisor and learned that my code has now moved to 2000 and that tomorrow it should move to 3000. For me, I pushed the advisor for some additional details, saying all I want to know is will the Escalade get built; yes or no. She put me on hold for about 10 minutes and then came back with the update. This whole process is frustrating, but we cannot change what is happening. I still do not have full confidence that mine will be accepted for the actual production; time will tell. Good luck!

    Hi everyone; jumping back in on the chip concern. I ordered my premium luxury in February and I now have my doubts that it will get accepted. I spoke with several dealers just to get a different opinion from what I am being told and all 3 advised that Cadillac has stopped accepting orders for 2021’s. All 3 stated that the delivery timeline for getting a 2022 is now approaching 10-12 months; chip concern and order backlog. My order is still pending, but I am pretty sure that Cadillac is going to eventually reject it. Still hopeful; time will tell. Crazy times for sure.

    Ugg; ordered my premium luxury in early February and was just told by the dealer that the concern over the computer chip shortage is starting to hit hard. I have the option to eliminate packages; but I decided not to do this. According to my dealer, not sure when GM will accept my order. If you have one on order, hang in there as this may be a long ride.

    Ugg; ordered my premium luxury in early February and was just told that it will most likely not get built for some time due to the computer chip concern. If I am willing to eliminate some packages, I stand a chance. But, I decided not to do this. For anyone waiting to receive their 2021 escalade, hang in there as it may be a long ride.

    Just joining in for the 1st time. Ordered my premium luxury in early February. The dealer is saying 12 weeks to get; what do you feel will actually happen? Thanks.
