2026 Cadillac Lyriq Drops Crystal White Tricoat Paint Color Option

The 2026 Cadillac Lyriq deletes the familiar Crystal White Tricoat exterior paint color option, replacing it with a new hue called Vibrant White Tricoat, which is available on all trim levels and can be combined with all interior color options. The new hue is also offered on the new, performance-oriented Lyriq-V.

Notably, the switch from ‘Crystal’ to Vibrant White Tricoat is not exclusive to the Lyriq, since the new color is available across the luxury marque’s entire EV portfolio, including the Escalade IQ, Vistiq, Optiq, and Optiq-V. It is also offered on the CT4 and CT5 sedans, however, it is not offered on the V and V Blackwing models.

2026 Cadillac Lyriq in Vibrant White Tricoat

Vibrant White Tricoat is designated by production code G4J and is an-charge option. The new Vibrant color adds $1,325 to the price of the 2026 Lyriq.

Of course, a new hue isn’t the only change the Lyriq sees for the 2026 model year. Other updates include an enhanced AKG Studio sound system, which features four more speakers than the outgoing model for a total of 23, as well as a new trim level naming convention.

Currently, the non-V Lyriq is available in Luxury 1, Luxury 2, Luxury 3, Sport 1, Sport 2, and Sport 3. For 2026, those same trim levels will instead be named the Luxury, Premium Luxury, Signature Luxury, Sport, Premium Sport, and Signature Sport. Aside from what they’re called, the structure of the aforementioned trim and their equipment will remain the same.

Aside from the aforementioned alterations, the 2026 Cadillac Lyriq remains unchanged. As such, it still offers a standard rear-wheel-drive single-motor and an available all-wheel-drive dual-motor configuration with maximum driving range from a single charge of 326 miles and 319 miles, respectively.

Production of the 2026 Lyriq began in late July 2025 at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee, where it’s built alongside the Cadillac Vistiq. Notably, the plant is likely to also handle production of the gas-powered XT5, which we expect to be introduced in the U.S. after Cadillac planned to discontinue it after the 2025 model year.
