The Cadillac Society Take

After a full year of consecutive quarterly declines, Cadillac Canada sales posted a significant double-digit uptick in the third quarter of the year. The luxury marque ended its negative streak with a solid performance that added nearly 800 units on a year-over-year basis, representing the first increase the luxury marque has recorded in the country during the 2024 calendar year.

Reversing the pattern of the previous four quarters, most Cadillac models were in the green during the third quarter – with the full-size Cadillac Escalade and Cadillac XT5 being the only exceptions. In particular, the all-electric Cadillac Lyriq was the marque’s primary volume driver in Q3, registering a triple-digit jump to 644 units. This makes the zero-emission crossover Cadillac’s second best-selling model for the second consecutive quarter.

Meanwhile, the Cadillac XT4 also posted a significant increase, solidifying its position as the best-selling model in Cadillac’s Canadian portfolio. The compact crossover ended its negative streak in the Canadian market thanks to the arrival of the refreshed model, while also stabilizing its year-to-date performance. Also worth noting are the healthy increases in the sedan, as both the Cadillac CT4 and Cadillac CT5 were in green.
