2025 Cadillac Escalade Gets Executive Rear Seating Package

The highly anticipated 2025 Cadillac Escalade refresh recently broke cover, revamping the luxury marque’s most iconic nameplate with a host of exterior design updates, an overhauled cockpit headlined by a broad coast-to-coast display, and a myriad of other important updates and changes. One of these is the new Executive Rear Seating Package, which kits out the second-row seats with a generous list of upgrades and features.

The Executive Rear Seating Package adds the following features to the 2025 Cadillac Escalade (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • Rear Command Center
  • Second-row captain’s chairs (AL4)
  • Second-row ventilated seats (KUF)
  • Heated second-row cushion and seat backs with dual mode switches (KCF)
  • 6-way power second-row seat adjuster (ACS)
  • 4-way power bolster second-row seat adjuster (AHX)
  • 10-point power massage second-row seat adjuster (AJV)
  • Second-row dual wireless charging (K7D)
  • Second-row floor console with stowable tray tables (DK1)

The Executive Rear Seating Package (production code RBV) is exclusively available for the Escalade Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport Platinum, and Escalade-V trims. It essentially turns the second row seats into a much more comfortable place for passengers, offering numerous upgrades over the standard captain’s chairs, which are less plushy and do not offer ventilation, multiway adjustments, or a center console with wireless phone charging capabilities. In fact, the seats included in the Executive Rear Seating Package are the same chairs used on the Escalade’s front row.

At this time, pricing for the executive rear seat package has not been released. However, the same package is available for the all-electric 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ, where it adds $7,500 to the overall cost of the full-size luxury electric SUV, so it’s likely that its price point will be similar, if not identical, on the gasoline-powered Escalade.

Powertrain options for the refreshed 2025 Escalade include the standard naturally aspirated 6.2L V8 engine (production code L87), while the supercharged 6.2L V8 engine (production code LT4) is found under the hood of the high-performance Escalade-V. The turbodiesel 3.0L I6 engine (production code LM2) has been deleted from the lineup, as was first reported by Cadillac Society

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade continues to ride on the T1 platform, and production is scheduled to commence on October 7th, 2024 at the Cadillac Arlington plant in Texas.
