Production Of The Refreshed 2025 Cadillac Escalade Will Start On This Date

Set to bring a host of welcome updates to the best-selling luxury SUV, a mid-cycle refresh is on the way for the internal combustion engine (ICE) powered 2025 Cadillac Escalade. Production of the refreshed model is slated to kick off later this year, and Cadillac Society recently learned exactly when the 2025 Escalade will begin rolling off the assembly line.

According to Cadillac Society sources, the start of regular production (SORP) of the 2025 Cadillac Escalade and the extended-length Escalade ESV will begin on October 7th, 2024 at the Cadillac Arlington plant in Texas. As usual, this date is tentative and subject to change at any time.

As for what’s in store for the refreshed model, perhaps the most striking difference between the forthcoming 2025 Cadillac Escalade and its 2021-2024 model year predecessors will be its overhauled front end. The new fascia will feature a new set of headlights, now divided between a set of thin, horizontally-oriented lights just beneath the seam of the hood, which serve as the turn signals or hazard indicators. Below these is a vertically-oriented housing containing the Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) on the outside pat of the cluster, and the actual headlights inside the same cluster.

Out back, the 2025 Escalade will boast the nameplate’s signature vertical taillights with new inner graphics. The liftgate will be emphasized by a full-width decorative bar beneath the rear glass, which itself will carry over from the pre-refresh model. A new decorative bar will be affixed just above the license plate. Below that, the reflectors within the rear fascia will get thinner, while the accent pieces that surround them take on a new shape. Meanwhile, the dual exhaust tips will take on a slightly new shape.

Inside, the luxury SUV will gain a coast-to-coast (or pillar-to-pillar) interior display housing the digital instrument cluster behind the steering wheel, the infotainment system, and a passenger side entertainment screen. This setup mirrors that found in the Escalade IQ and Cadillac Celestiq, creating interior design congruity across the luxury marque’s lineup.

Aside from looks, the 2025 Escalade introduces several other notable changes. As previously reported by Cadillac Society, the 2025 Escalade will likely ditch the base Luxury trim as Caddy continues to streamline its trim level offerings across its lineup. Additionally, the luxury SUV will no longer offer the turbodiesel engine option, meaning that it will only be available with a gasoline-powered engine under the hood moving forward.
