The Cadillac Society Take

The significant drop in Cadillac Mexico sales during November deepens the luxury marque’s negative performance in the Latin country, where it has already accumulated 11 consecutive months of sales declines with a volume contraction of over 300 units year-to-date. However, Cadillac’s 99 deliveries in November represent a recovery from the 73 units it registered in October.

In November, the three models that Cadillac has been offering in Mexico were once again in the red, continuing in free fall. Being Cadillac’s highest volume model in Mexico, the Cadillac Escalade continues to be responsible the most for the overall drop, seeing the most significant decline both during the month and the first 11 months of 2023.

For its part, the Cadillac XT4 recorded a new monthly low by selling only two units in November, representing the highest rate of decline among the marque’s models. Similarly, the Cadillac XT5 performed below the result obtained during the same month a year ago in Mexico, with the low volume being the result of a weak competitive position in the local market.
