Big changes are on the way for the 2025 Cadillac CT5, treating the luxury sedan to an updated exterior design and overhauled cockpit inside. Like the rest of the CT5 range, the refreshed 2025 CT5 will be produced at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan, and Cadillac Society recently learned when assembly will kick off for the refreshed model.
According to sources familiar with the matter, the start of regular production (SORP) of the 2025 Cadillac CT5 Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport will kick off on April 2nd, 2023, shortly after production of the 2024 Cadillac CT5 wraps up on March 27th, 2023. Of course, these are tentative dates and are therefore subject to change at any time. Additionally, it’s important to note that the Cadillac CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing are on their own production schedules and will likely start on different dates.
The most notable change inbound for the refreshed 2025 CT5 is that of its revised front fascia. The forthcoming model’s grille is considerably wider than that of the outgoing model. Complementing the new grille is new signature lighting with uninterrupted vertical lighting strips, which extend from the outer edges of the headlights to the bottom of the front fascia. Stacked LED headlamps light the way ahead, while new V-shaped accents bracket either side of the grille for a more aggressive outlook.
Inside, the 2025 Cadillac CT5 boasts a large, curved 33-inch LED color touchscreen, with built-in tech features such as 5G connectivity and Google built-in compatibility.
The powertrain story goes unchanged from the 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 model years. That means that the refreshed 2025 Cadillac CT5 Cadillac harnesses the standard turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), capable of at 237 horsepower 258 pound-feet of torque. A more powerful engine is offered in the form of the optional twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine (production code LGY), rated at 335 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. Rear-wheel drive is standard, while all-wheel drive is optional across all trims. Both engines bolt to the 10-speed automatic transmission. Pricing and availability has not yet been revealed.

Any news about production of the 2025 CT-4? All I’ve seen is when the 2024 model will cease production. Is GM planning to “CT-6” the CT-4?

I will wait to see the new 2025 model,however I do not have high hopes, I have owned model 2010 cts,2013 cts,2016 cts and finally 2019 cts all w/and. The ct4&5 models shud not carry the cadillac name. They are do not represent the cadillcs of the past in appearance and quality. Hope GM smarten up!!
