2024 Cadillac Escalade Production Now Underway

The 2024 Cadillac Escalade is now rolling off the assembly line at the Arlington plant in Texas, Cadillac Society has learned.

Production of the 2024 Escalade was originally slated to kick off in early November, but the start of production was delayed by a few weeks primarily due to the United Auto Worker (UAW) strike that took place from mid-September to early October. It’s worth noting that the Arlington plant was never directly affected by UAW strikes or walkouts, however.

As for what’s on the way for the 2024 Cadillac Escalade, the full-size luxury SUV sees minor changes and updates over its outgoing 2023 model year counterpart. The most notable of these is the addition of the luxury marque’s semi-autonomous driver assist feature, Super Cruise, to most trim levels. That means it will be standard on Premium Luxury, Sport, Premium Luxury Platinum, Sport Platinum and Escalade-V trims. However, it is still excluded from the base Luxury trim, where it’s not available even as an option.

Additionally, the 2024 Cadillac Escalade-V features exclusive V-Series accents, commemorating the 20th anniversary of the high-performance line. This includes unique content like a custom grille header and puddle lamp projectors that throw a special V-Series image.

Aside from that, the 2024 Escalade holds steady as the fourth model year of the best-selling luxury SUV’s fifth generation. However, looking ahead, a mid-cycle refresh will spice up the Escalade line for the 2025 model year. The new Escalade will adopt an all-new pillar-to-pillar display panel similar to that of the Cadillac Celestiq ultra-luxury electric sedan and Escalade IQ battery electric SUV. Additionally, spy shots suggest a new treatment for its front and rear fascias is also inbound. Said refresh was initially expected for the 2024 model year, but has been delayed to the 2025 model year instead.

Pricing for the 2024 Escalade, which rides on the T1 platform, starts at $83,890 for the regular-length model, or $86,890 for the Escalade ESV.
