2024 Cadillac CT5-V Gains New Red Accent Package

2024 Cadillac CT5-V Gains New Red Accent Package

Though there aren’t many changes or updates on the way for the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V, it does offer one new exterior accent bundle for a premium. Labeled as the Red Accent Package, the new option brings a handful of red-themed exterior elements to the CT5-V.

The Red Accent Package (production code PDK) is a dealer-installed package that adds $3,395 to the overall cost of the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V. The package includes the following equipment (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • 20-inch Low Gloss Black alloy wheels with Red accents (SKX)
  • Red wheel center cap, LPO (5ZE)
  • Decals, LPO (SB9)
  • Black wheel lug nuts, LPO (SPY)
  • Black wheel locks, LPO (SPZ)

It’s worth noting that this same package is also available on the “regular” 2024 CT5, although it bundles different equipment for the CT5-V. Regardless of trim, the two packages carry the same price tag.

Other than that, the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V remains largely unchanged from its 2023 model year predecessor. That means that it still harnesses the luxury marque’s twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine (production code LGY) capable of a healthy 360 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. Output is routed exclusively via the 10-speed automatic transmission, while rear-wheel-drive is standard and all-wheel-drive is optional.

The high-performance luxury sedan rides on the luxury marque’s Alpha 2 platform and is built at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan. Pricing for the 2024 Cadillac CT5-V in RWD guise starts at $52,890, while opting for AWD bumps the price tag to $54,890.

Looking ahead, the entire CT5 range, including the regular CT5, CT5-V and the CT5-V Blackwing will receive a refresh for the 2025 model year. This will include an updated front fascia along with a completely revamped cockpit. Though the regular 2025 CT5 has already been revealed, the two V-Series models will be revealed in the near future. In fact, Cadillac Society has already spotted an example of the refreshed CT5-V undergoing testing.

  1. Dreaming of a CT-5 V (non Blackwing version) that is available with a manual transmission!!

  2. The accent package looks good, but c’mon Cadillac… offer a higher level tune for this engine! I think most would rather spend $3400 to get that engine tuned like it was in the CT6 with 404 HP, but keeping the 405lbft of torque. This would help the CT5 keep up with the likes of a G70 3.3T or C43 AMG.

  3. I will be in the market for a 2025 CT5, possibly a CT5-V. Currently, the CT5 is offered in three trims: Luxury, Sport, and Premium Luxury. The only trim that receives the option for the 335HP Twin Turbo V6 is the Premium Luxury. Does anyone know if Cadillac still plans on offering the same three trims after the 2025 refresh? If yes, does anyone know if the SPORT trim will “finally” receive the Twin Turbo V6 option? Thanks.
