The 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing featured only a handful of changes and updates over the 2022 model, the biggest of which were the three CT4-V Blackwing Track Editions. The special editions are named after a U.S. race track, including the Watkins Glen IMSA Edition, the Sebring IMSA Edition, and the Road Atlanta IMSA Edition.
The 2023 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing is powered by the twin-turbocharged 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4), rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque. The six-speed manual transmission is standard, while the 10-speed automatic is optional – both exclusively feeding the rear wheels.
The Cadillac CT4 is underpinned by the Alpha 2 platform, which is shared with the Cadillac CT5. Production began at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan on July 18th, 2022. Production of the 2024 model year will start on July 10th, 2023.
