2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ To Be Unveiled On August 9th: Video

The all-electric 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is waiting in the wings for its official reveal. Thankfully, interested parties won’t have to wait too much longer for the veil to be pulled from the full-size electric luxury SUV, as the luxury marque has just announced that the 2025 Escalade IQ will be revealed in just a few months – on August 9th, 2023. The announcement was accompanied by a short teaser video, available below, teasing parts of the electric crossover SUV.

In less than 30 seconds, the 2025 Cadillac Escalade IQ is teased with a series of quick video snippets that provide just enough to help visualize what the vehicle will look like in full without giving away too much. This includes a shot of its spoiler, roof, a wheel, and a fast look at the headlights and lighting signature affixed to its “grille”, a treatment similar to that seen on the Cadillac Lyriq.

“Escalade IQ represents the reinvention of Cadillac’s most iconic nameplate,” the luxury marque said in a statement. “The debut of Escalade IQ marks the next step in Cadillac’s commitment to offering a fully electric portfolio by the end of the decade.”

Cadillac Society has already spied a Cadillac Escalade IQ prototype undergoing testing, giving us a good idea of what the electric SUV looks like. The prototype features a noticeably different profile and a lower ride height than the ICE-powered Escalade. These two changes make it seem that the Escalade IQ’s hood is longer than that of its gasoline-powered counterpart.

The luxury marque also affirmed that the Cadillac Escalade IQ will be built at the Detroit-Hamtramck plant in Detroit, Michigan, which recently received a $2.2 billion investment toward retooling to prepare for the production of EVs. For the time being, the ICE-powered Escalade, meanwhile, will continue to be built at the Cadillac Arlington plant in Arlington, Texas.
