2024 Cadillac Lyriq: Here’s The New Argent Silver Metallic Color

The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq adds five new exterior colors to its palette: Radiant Red Tintcoat, Celestial Metallic, Nimbus Metallic, Emerald Lake Metallic, and Argent Silver Metallic. Here’s our first look at the new Silver hue.

Assigned production code GXD and touch-up paint code WA-130H, Argent Silver Metallic is one of eight exterior colors offered on the all-electric luxury crossover, which include:

  • Crystal White Tricoat
  • Stellar Black Metallic
  • Opulent Blue Metallic
  • Argent Silver Metallic (new for 2023)
  • Radiant Red Tintcoat (new for 2023)
  • Celestial Metallic (new for 2023)
  • Nimbus Metallic (new for 2023)
  • Emerald Lake Metallic (new for 2023)

The Argent Silver Metallic color is an no-cost item available on all trim levels, with the option to add a Black roof on the top equipment group of both the Luxury (1SE) and Sport (1SK) trim levels. It can be combined with all five interior colorways:

  • Noir (Tech)
  • Noir with Santorini Blue accents (Luxury and Sport)
  • Sky Cool Gray with Santorini Blue accents (Luxury and Sport)
  • Oxford Stone with Garnet accents (Luxury 1SE and Sport 1SK)
  • Juniper with Sky Cool Gray accents (Luxury 1SE and Sport 1SK)

Introduced for the 2023 model year, the Cadillac Lyriq stands as the luxury marque’s first entry into the budding EV market. The 2024 Cadillac Lyriq arrives with several important changes and updates, among which is the introduction of a revised trim level lineup, starting with the addition of a new entry level trim called Tech. The Luxury and new Sport trim levels slot above the new Tech trim.

A wide range of trim levels and equipment groups is available for the 2024 Lyriq. The Luxury and Sport trims offer equipment groups numbered 1, 2 and 3, with each ascending number representing a better-equipped model. The Lyriq Tech, by comparison, features only one equipment level (1SA). All three trims are offered in either rear-wheel-drive or all-wheel-drive.

Regardless of trim level, 2024 Lyriq in rear-wheel-drive form is rated at 340 horsepower and 325 pound-feet of torque, along with a maximum driving range of 308 miles on a single charge. All-wheel-drive models deliver 500 horsepower and 450 pound-feet of torque, along with 307 miles of driving range from a single charge.

  1. A few corrections:

These colors, per the 2024 Cadillac LYRIQ brochure – are for the 2024 model year, not 2023…..

The 2024 Brochure lists that RWD and AWD are available for the TECH trim also – but then, policies at Cadillac seem to be constantly changing as if the management is Squirelley. The build configurator ONLINE indicates the same.

    • I agree.. the changing models. they build for a few years then change.. and the names! XT5 vs XTS.. so similar and very confusing if you are reading about it in a different font.. good grief cadillac make up your mind!
you’re just making it harder and harder for the long standing loyal cadillac owners..
÷put the SRX chrome side piece on the bland XT5 sides (exterior)..
÷put the lighted cadillac logo on the hood (like on the lyriq) on the XT5.. this is for those of us who know EVs, while currently PC, burn more fossil fuels to generate the electricity needed to run the vehicle, than just running a combustible eng itself.. (so put the lighted logo on a non-EV for the rest of us..)
lastly, put SUPER CRUISE in the XT5!!
      please and thanQ

  2. I only want the 2024. It’s really the Cadillac with many options and better quality items.
