Onyx Package Now Available For 2023 Cadillac XT4

The Onyx Package was one of several packages withheld from the 2023 Cadillac XT4 since mid-2022 due to supplier constraints, but Cadillac Society recently learned that it is once again available to order on the luxury crossover.

The 2023 Cadillac XT4 Onyx Package (production code PDB) is an LPO-level, or dealer-installed, package. It bundles several dark-themed exterior accents for the luxury crossover, and is now available to order in conjunction with all XT4 trim levels, including Luxury, Premium Luxury and Sport. Specifically, the package, which costs $2,795, includes the following content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • Black surround grille with Black mesh, LPO (RZ9)
  • 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (SKW)
  • Gloss Black XT4 nameplate, LPO (RIK)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)

Meanwhile, the Onyx Lite Package (production code PCP) is also available for the 2023 Cadillac XT4. This package is available across all XT4 trim levels. Priced at $2,195 and includes the following content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):

  • 20-inch Gloss Black wheels, LPO (SKW)
  • Gloss Black XT4 nameplate, LPO (RIK)
  • Monochrome Cadillac emblems, LPO (SFZ)

As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac XT4 sold in North America is powered exclusively by the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It’s mated to Cadillac’s nine-speed automatic transmission that delivers power to the front to wheels as standard or to all four wheels via an all-wheel-drive system as an extra-cost option.

Pricing for the 2023 Cadillac XT4 starts at $37,490 for the base Luxury trim level, while Premium Luxury starts at $41,390 and $41,990 for Sport. Production for the 2023 model year began on June 10th, 2022, at the Spring Hill plant in Tennessee. Initially, the XT4 was slated to receive a mid-cycle refresh for the 2023 model year, but the update was postponed to the 2024 model year, and was only recently unveiled in full.

  1. Reluctantly I sold my XT4 SPORTforsomething with a lot more power, like 450 HP or 215 HP more…I did love that loaded little XT4…It was spunky, but just ran out of spunk at the top… It needed the 2.7L Turbo… Yep, I’m
SURE that would off Done it, 310HP…
    Gonna miss it!!!
