2023 Cadillac CT4 Driver Assist Package Will Continue To Be Standard

2023 Cadillac CT4 Driver Assist Package Will Continue To Be Standard

The Driver Assist Package will once again be included as standard equipment on the 2023 Cadillac CT4, Cadillac Society has learned.

The Driver Assist Package includes the following content (relevant production code listed in parentheses):

  • Adaptive Cruise Control (KSG)
  • Enhanced Automatic Emergency Braking (UGN)
  • Reverse Automatic Braking (UVZ)

This optional package is offered on the Premium Luxury and Sport trim levels, and it is not available at all for the base Luxury trim.

The Driver Assist package was offered as an optional (paid) extra for the 2020 and 2021 model year CT4 before becoming standard for the 2022 model year. Initially, Cadillac planned to make the Driver Assist package an optional extra on the 2023 Cadillac CT4, much like it was for the 2021 model year. However, the luxury marque has walked back on that decision.

As a reminder, the 2023 Cadillac CT4 features the turbocharged 2.0L I4 engine (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. This engine is standard on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels. Models with this engine get the 350T badge on the decklid as part of Cadillac’s torque-based nomenclature. A second option, the turbocharged 2.7L I4 engine (production code L3B), is optional on the CT4 Premium Luxury, where it makes 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque. These models wear the 500T badge.

Production of the Cadillac CT4 takes place at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan, and production of the 2023 model year began earlier this month.
