The 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing has received a minor price increase.
The MSRP of the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing has remained the same. Instead, the price hike has been applied to the destination freight charge, which increased from $995 to $1,395. This adds $400 to the overall price of the ultra-high-performance luxury sedan, bringing the starting MSRP to $85,390 with the standard six-speed manual transmission equipped, while models outfitted with the optional 10-speed automatic now start at $88,565.
A similar hike in destination freight charge pricing was also applied to the 2022 Cadillac CT5 and CT5-V.

As a reminder, the 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is powered by the luxury marque’s supercharged V8 engine (production code LT4), which is capable of a whopping 668 horsepower and 659 pound-feet of torque. Power is routed exclusively through the rear wheels, transferred via either of the aforementioned transmission options. The super sedan was considered the most powerful Cadillac ever made until it was dethroned by the high-performance Escalade-V, which features the same supercharged powerhouse but tuned to facilitate a higher output.
The ultra-high-performance Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing is assembled at the Lansing Grand River plant in Michigan.
