Last month, we showed you photos of what is believed to be the very last Cadillac XT4 to ever roll off the assembly line at the Fairfax plant in Kansas. Now, we’ve tracked that very crossover to the Park Lane Cadillac dealership in Ontario, Canada.
As a reminder, this particular XT4 is a well-equipped Sport model coated in Crystal White Tricoat, which was the most expensive Cadillac XT4 paint color for the 2025 model year. The top-shelf finish is accentuated by 20-inch Dynamic Multi-Spoke alloy wheels in a Diamond Cut and Dark Android finish. Other notable options include the Technology Package, Trailering Package, and Active Sport Suspension.
In addition to the options noted above, the window sticker shows an original MSRP of $63,327 CAD, or roughly $46,000 USD. For that, the buyer will get a well-spec’d luxury crossover that offers a host of features for both the driver and passengers. The fit and finish, to name one, is more than sufficient, with plenty of soft-touch areas throughout the cabin.
Sure, the Cadillac XT4 has its shortcomings, such as the lack of (sufficient?) knee padding for the front passenger’s left leg, but it has it where it counts: the perky yet efficient turbocharged four-cylinder engine is mated to a smooth-shifting – albeit occasionally clumsy – nine-speed automatic. The chassis and suspension components create a ride that isn’t the most athletic nor most supple, but it does strike a nice balance between competency and comfort.
Shoppers who are intrigued by this Cadillac XT4 should try to pluck a new one from remaining inventory while they still can. However, if they are not yet ready to buy and are willing to forego conventional internal combustion engines, then they may consider the luxury marque’s next-generation models – namely the Optiq, which is Cadillac’s indirect successor to the XT4.
For reference, the Cadillac Optiq is a battery electric crossover positioned below the Cadillac Lyriq, which itself slots below the Vistiq and Escalade IQ. The growing range of Cadillac electric cars will also include performance models, such as the upcoming Optiq-V and recently-launched Lyriq-V.
Only 26 units of the 685-horsepower sedan will be built.
U.S. production of the crossover ended in January of 2025.
