Cadillac Celestiq Teased Again, Revealing New Design Details

Details and actual photos of the upcoming Cadillac Celestiq have been sparse, but today, the luxury marque released another teaser image of its upcoming electric flagship sedan.

In a press release, Cadillac now refers to the vehicle as the Cadillac Celestiq show car, a strategy it also employed for the Cadillac Lyriq in 2021. This means that the show car will be close to the production vehicle, but not exactly like it, will be shown when it’s finally revealed. More specifically, there will be slight differences between the two, such as the wheels, mirrors, and cutlines.

The new teaser image shows off the Celestiq’s driver side front quarter panel, which features well-sculpted body lines and likely the panel that could conceal the electric sedan’s charging port. The forthcoming flagship vehicle will likely feature the marque’s signature lighting specific to Cadillac EVs, similar to the LED display integrated into the front fascia of the Lyriq, along with a “lively and choreographed symphony of light” to greet the driver and passengers as they approach the vehicle.

“From its unique proportions and a new effortless, sophisticated form language, to the precision and attention to detail, the Celestiq is unlike anything on the road today,” said Magalie Debellis, manager of Cadillac Branded Advanced Design. “From its inception, the Celestiq show car was crafted to reincarnate the ‘Standard of the World.'”

Cadillac Celestiq taillight details

As Cadillac Society was first to exclusively report earlier last month, the upcoming Celestiq will be the most customizable vehicle ever in the luxury marque’s lineup, meaning each unit could be uniquely built right down to the most minute aspect depending on customer desires. With pricing expected to start around the $200,000 mark, the Celestiq will be hand-built in very small numbers, and will feature a myriad of premium features and technologies such as Ultra Cruise and dimmable SPD SmartGlass

Beyond that, the press release invites interested parties to keep a close eye on Cadillac’s social media outlets for more glimpses of the Cadillac Celestiq throughout the summer, indicating that its unveiling is on the horizon.

We’ll provide more details on the Celestiq as soon as we get them. Until then, be sure to subscribe to Cadillac Society for more Cadillac Celestiq news and around-the-clock Cadillac news coverage. We also invite you to join the latest discussions in our Cadillac forums and Cadillac Celestiq forum.
