The Super Cruise semi-autonomous driver assist system is no longer available to order for the 2022 Cadillac CT5, Cadillac Society has learned.
Previously, Super Cruise could be equipped on units of the CT5 with Premium Luxury and Sport trim, along with the high-performance CT5-V. It was not available at all on Luxury (base) model or the range-topping CT5-V Blackwing.
On models for which it was available, Super Cruise was part of two optional packages. The Super Cruise 1 Package was priced at $3,600 to equip on CT5 Premium Luxury, Sport and CT5-V models and required the $1,060 Climate Package (production code Y6F). It includes the following content (relevant production codes listed in parentheses):
Super Cruise was also included as part of the Super Cruise 2 Package. This package included the following content (relevant production codes in parentheses):
The Super Cruise 2 Package costs $6,940 on Premium Luxury, and $7,040 on Sport models. It requires that the $1,790 Parking Package (production code Y6L) on Premium Luxury, Sport and CT5-V models, along with the $3,920 Premium Package (production code PCK) on CT5-V.
Additionally, the Super Cruise 2 Package required that Premium Luxury models featuring the twin-turbocharged 3.0L V6 engine (production code LGY) with all-wheel-drive (production code F46).
At this time, it’s not clear what caused Super Cruise to become unavailable for the remainder of the 2022 model year for the Cadillac CT5. Earlier this year, the luxury marque announced that Super Cruise would be temporarily removed from the sedan. We expect the feature to return for the 2023 model year, as supply of various components like microchips improves.
