Cadillac Lyriq Will Offer More Color Options In The Future

The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition was available in only two exterior colors: Stellar Black Metallic and Satin Steel Metallic. But Cadillac Society has now learned that a greater selection of exterior color offerings will become available once the vehicle’s launch is well underway.

At the time of this writing, it’s not entirely clear what exterior color options could be offered on future units of the Cadillac Lyriq, but we have been given a hint of what some of them might be, thanks to spy shots of recent prototypes. For instance, several of these prototypes have been spotted wearing a white color, indicating that either Summit White and/or Crystal White Tricoat could be offered in the future. Another prototype spied on the road bore the same white body, but the liftgate was painted red, similar to Garnet Metallic offered on some Cadillac models today.

Taking into consideration exterior colors offered on other Cadillac models can give us a decent idea of what colors could be offered for the Lyriq as well. Wave Metallic, Electric Blue, Blaze Orange Metallic and Shadow Metallic could be added to color selections on the Lyriq, to name a few.

In addition, the Cadillac Lyriq Debut Edition is also offered in only two distinct interior color combinations: Noir and Sky Cool Gray. We expect Cadillac to offer a great selection of interior colorways soon after the Lyriq begins to launch.

The 2023 Cadillac Lyriq rides on the all-new BEV3 platform and is equipped with rear wheel drive and a 100.4 kWh lithium-ion Ultium battery pack and a single Ultium Drive motor mounted on the rear axle, offering an estimated 300 miles of driving range. As of this writing, that’s the only powertrain configuration available, but more options, including all-wheel-drive and more power, are expected in the future. Deliveries of the all-new battery-electric crossover are expected to commence sometime this spring, with a starting price point of $59,990 for customers in the U.S.
