The online configurators for the 2022 Cadillac CT4 and Cadillac CT4-V went live on the luxury marque’s website last week, giving prospective buyers the opportunity to build and price their ideal luxury sedans.
The 2022 Cadillac CT4 and CT4-V build-you-own tools give users the ability to choose their preferred trim level, exterior color, interior colorway and materials, among plenty of other exterior and interior accents and accessories, all while providing the price of each option. Additionally, the CT4-V configurator allows users to select the luxury sedan’s ultra-high-performance variant, the CT4-V Blackwing.
There have been some minor changes to the CT4 for the 2022 model year, starting with the deletion of three exterior paint colors: Velocity Red, Evergreen Metallic, and Dark Blue Moon Metallic. In their place are three new colors: Blaze Orange Metallic, Electric Blue and Dark Emerald Frost. Also new for the 2022 model year are two new packages – the Onyx Package and the Radiant Package.
The base engine for the 2022 Cadillac CT4 350T remains the turbocharged 2.0L I4 (production code LSY), rated at 237 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It’s standard on the Luxury, Premium Luxury, and Sport trim levels and gets the 350T designation on the decklid as part of Cadillac’s torque-based nomenclature. From there, the turbocharged 2.7L I4 (production code L3B) is optional on the CT4 Premium Luxury, where it makes 310 horsepower and 350 pound-feet of torque and gets the 500T badge. The 2.7L turbo engine is also standard on the CT4-V, where it’s rated at 325 horsepower and 380 pound-feet of torque.
New for the 2022 model year is the CT4-V Blackwing range-topper, which is powered by the twin-turbo 3.6L V6 engine (production code LF4) rated at 472 horsepower and 445 pound-feet of torque.
