The 2022 Cadillac XT4 represents the luxury crossover’s fourth model year, for which the model introducing a few minor changes and improvements. One of these changes is the addition of the new Premium Comfort and Convenience Package.
Assigned production code ZM9, the Premium Comfort and Convenience Package is offered as an option exclusively on the Sport trim level. The package includes the following content (production codes listed in parentheses):

- 8-way power passenger seat adjuster (A7K)
- Driver power lumbar massage (AF6)
- Front passenger power lumbar massage (AKE)
- Driver seat 4-way power lumbar control (AVK)
- Front passenger seat 4-way power lumbar control (AVU)
- Driver power seatback bolster (AHE)
- Front passenger power seatback bolster (AHH)
- Driver and front passenger ventilated seats (KU9)
Opting for the Premium Comfort and Convenience package will also require the 2022 Cadillac XT4 be outfitted with the Cold Weather Package (production code Y19), which includes the following content:

- Heated driver and front passenger seats (KA1)
- Heated rear outboard seats (KA6)
- Automatic heated steering wheel (KI3)
This new Premium Comfort and Convenience Package takes the place of the Comfort and Convenience Package (production code WPC) and Comfort and Technology Preferred Package (production code PDL). It cannot be combined with the similarly-new Comfort Package (production code Y55), which includes some of the features seen in the Premium Comfort and Convenience Package, including:

- Driver and front passenger ventilated seats (KU9)
- Leather seating surfaces
Several other updates to the 2022 Cadillac XT4 include the deletion of three exterior paint colors: Autumn Metallic (paint code GM6), Garnet Metallic (paint code GLR), and Shadow Metallic (paint code JGI). Another deleted feature is the red caliper option (production code J6F), previously offered on the 2021 XT4.
