January 5, 2022 at 10:09 am in reply to: Cadillac CT5 Rumors, Questions & General Discussions #85720ParticipantMy dealer claims that many factors are causing delay, rail shipping delays, truck driver shortage because of Covid (everything is blamed on Covid), the holidays etc. He is still hopeful for a January delivery, but I am not holding my breath! Happy New Year All.

Should also know a possible delivery date and if heated seats and heated steering will be available or installed later.

But the dealer to his credit, offered a fully equip CT5 V6 less Platinum and Super Cruise for a Jan delivery. I am fortunate in that I have option of first refusal. I have already been waiting nearly a year, so for another month I can wait for a 2022 model.

The Super Cruise (which is what I was most interested in) has NOT shipped on any CT5s. And no one knows when it will actually be available, despite Cadillac still promoting it. The Dealer did process for me a CT5 2022 luxury premium V6 without Super Cruise, and it was actually accepted code 3000? He said that it is possible to receive car in January. Let hope so.

Production of the CT5 2022’s supposedly resumed around Oct 15th, 2021. I have no idea what will happen to my order from Jan 2021. The dealer claims the order was accepted many months ago but has not been picked up for production. If that actually happens, it will take several more weeks to process and deliver to the dealer. So at this point, I see no light at the end of the tunnel.
